Kindle Fire 7th gen login required

I have 2 kindle fires I'm trying to set up.  When I enter the 10 digit meraki code in the Meraki SM app I am immediately prompted with a login.  The app does not say which account it's asking for but I assume it's my gsuite account that's tied with meraki.  It has 2FA set up and I've tried both my normal google account password and an app password I've generated.  Both fail with a login not recognized.  I even tried my meraki login which returned the same result (Meraki also has 2FA enabled).

I'm not sure what to do here.  Are all kindle devices unsupported?

This guide takes you through configuring Systems Manager enrollment authentication.  This will tell you what authentication it is setup for.

This document lists the supported devices.

Kindle Fire is not listed.  I don't know what OS they run, but you could check that.

Thanks. The fire devices run 5.1.1.  Interestingly I have an older 5th gen fire running the same os and it was able to connect to Meraki (I did set it up a year ago though).

I re-read one of the pages you linked and the solution was stupidly simple.  This is a kindle, it's not able to run all the google services I tried setting up (I'm tied to a google apps domain).  So I went into the Meraki users dashboard and made a new meraki user.  I signed in with that account and was able to add my Fire.  Which means I'll be able to add the other one later.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
