Exclude a Device from the Scope of an Auto Tag

I apologize if this question has a self-evident answer. I have searched the forums and documentation and am unable to find one.

Is it possible to exclude a device from the scope of a policy that has been assigned an auto tag?

For example, we have a policy set to delay OS updates on all Mac devices. I would like to do some testing but am unable to exclude my Mac from the scope of the policy so I can not download the upgrade.

Any thoughts on the best workaround here are appreciated!

Create a second "test" Systems Manager network, and move your machine into that network.

Great idea! Was wondering if there was an exclusions option I was missing, but this is a great workaround.

Thanks again!
