Disable location tracking for reasons of user privacy

Hi,

We manage a mix of corporate devices and personal devices. When it comes to personal mobile phones, we DO NOT wish to enable location tracking. We don't care about this feature and have already applied a policy/profile to disable it.

I'd like to know how I can properly disable that option vs applying a profile. Currently, the end user is still seeing in their permission list that MDM has access to their location. This is causing unnecessary concerns that we're trying to address.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Kind of a big deal

"You cannot configure Privacy > Location Services via MDM. This means that end users have the ability to turn on or off GPS tracking."

Thank you for the answer.

I would have preferred that the setup does not prompt the end user for location tracking.

I guess we'll have to inform our users on how to disable it so they can have peace of mind...

Thanks
