Why was the purpose of your project? Purpose was to migrate 100 sites from various firewall platforms (mainly Juniper SRX) to Meraki MX95's.
What challenges did you encounter? How did you solve those? We initially had some firmware issues that was causing ruination but after working extensively with the fantastic Meraki Support, we were able to temporarily lock firmware's till they released a new firmware version that resolved the issue.
What Meraki gear did you end up using? What non-Meraki gear did you use? Mainly Meraki MX95, MR46's, and some MS switches. Most switches remained the same as the existing Juniper EX2300's.
What do you hope to do next to in the future? Hope to look into configuration templates to make the process of managing them all easier!
@DarrenOCWe weren't using Mist so not able to compare too much there but the SRX itself had a CLI which I do miss. The GUI was very slow though and setting up S2S VPN's was a pain. There is also a bit more granular you can get with the firewall policies that come built in but other than that, I'd say they're pretty comparable and Meraki is way easier to configure and setup.
