URGENT need for Meraki Go support

I am writing this on Nov 15th at 10am Eastern.

Our company has a main office and a satellite office - both with Meraki Go GX50  routers and connected via a VPN tunnel

(yes we know that are at end of life)

We had web portal access to the satellite office - but had lost access to the main office.

Meraki tech support was surprised that we did not have access to the main office and proposed that they unbind our account from the routers - so that we (allegedly) reconnect our account to the routers.

Sadly that process (late in the day on Friday) brought down both routers!

(I think they are both on factory defaults)

Naturally that also means that our VPN tunnel is down.

We need some who can urgently help us on the phone or via What's App

We will pay you what you need.

Please respond ASAP if you really know Meraki Go routers.

My recommendation is that you call Meraki support again; they will certainly help you, and you will not incur any additional costs.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Call Meraki support?  Is there a phone number?   I only can email them and their response time is slow.  We are in dire need of getting our VPN tunnel back up.

In fact, it was their unbinding of our account that led to both networks going down....

Take a look at the end of the page.

Thanks for that webpage and I see the phone number at the end.

BUT.... that looks like tech support for Cisco Meraki enterprise, and these are small businesses Meraki Go routers.

When I try to login at the Meraki Dashboard, I am told to login with my Meraki Go app - which just asks me to setup my routers - which I cannot do in any event - as I am now at either of the locations.

I think this means I cannot get phone support.

If the satellite office GX was not removed from the account, it should be working as normal.  Removing the HQ GX from the account would have likely dropped the VPN as it can only be within the same account I believe.  However the GX should still maintain the rest of its config.

Does internet access at both sites go through the GX and is it still working at both sites?

Can you add the HQ GX back to the account?

BOTH office routers were removed from the account.

That brought down internet at both offices.  (which naturally meant the VPN tunnel went down)

The main office internet DID come back on its own.  We can only speculate that someone at Meraki did something.

The satellite office now has internet access - only after we managed to get someone onsite - who noted that the wifi had been reset (to the default?) "Meraki setup"

At this point I have no access to the portal for either router - and the satellite office tech thinks that both routers are connected to some "other" account.

We hope to talk to Meraki support soon.  Does anyone have any suggestion how we can get our account connected to both routers ?
