GX20 - disable public ICMP

This router is called by Meraki a "Security Router", and yet will happily advertise its presence to the world by replying to pings. Ports are stealthed by default which is good, but is pointless if it's going to reply to ICMP probes.

Please can we add an option to disable this?

Looking at this and the other threads, I get the impression Meraki staffers don't bother checking here very often now.  Shame, as when I've submitted requests previously they were responded to and implemented quite quickly.

They do check the forums..... You may not receive a direct response on every post, ask, or comment but they do frequent the forums often.

Support this case. Strange that a security product answer on ping by default.

Problem is now resolved…. Replaced Meraki’s router with one that was half the price and has twice the features.  

Network now passes GRC Shields Up testing completely.
