Hi everybody!

Everybody calls me Manny for short. I am a Network Engineer for a national IT staffing firm here in the US.

The first time I ever encountered Meraki was back in my earlier Geek Squad days as we had a plethora of MX64 appliances😁 I'm happy to say that my current organization does have a bigger Meraki footprint which is exciting to get more exposure to the Meraki line. Currently a CCNA but working on leveling up to CCNP Enterprise and plan on beginning my CCIE EI journey in the next two years as intimidating as that mountain is. I may even get certified in Meraki along the way as I love to learn more.

The IT community as a whole is small yet huge at the same time (if that makes sense). I say that because it's a very diverse, tight-knit and BEAUTIFUL community and I hope to get involved in this Meraki community to both learn and help others as I love to do for the IT community in general.

Fun fact about me: One of my many interests is video games to which I'm still a lover of the retro consoles where I still have my Sega Genesis and Nintendo 64 hooked up alongside my current consoles.

@MannyRoutes , Welcome to the community! It is one of the best and you wont be let down by any of the superstar Meraki community members! Have you ever built a retropi to bring all of your favorite retro games into one?

@KRobertThanks man! I haven't...yet. I have one Raspberry Pi 4 as my Kali Linux box and want to get another one just for retropi. Heard great things about it.

Oooo Kali boxes are always fun to play with. You have to get a second one and install either Metasploitable or DVP instance to hack into.

Ooooh! I like that idea! 😈 That will definitely be my next project along with the Retropi
