adding SonicWall SMA appliance to network

We are moving to SonicWall SMA for our VPN solution. Away from the built in Meraki VPN.

we have a MX84 and are wondering how to create the rules to make SMA work in our existing environment.

Sorry for the vagueness, but we inherited the system and the VPN within the Meraki has been very problematic and still no SSL VPN support. we purchased the SMA and are struggling to get it working with MX.

Kind of a big deal

Is the SonicWall sitting in front of or behind the MX?

it will be behind the MX.

Can the SonicWall run on a single interface (on a stick)?

If so, just NAT port 443 through to it. On your MX add a route for the VPN subnet you are using through to the SonicWall.  On the SonicWall add LAN routes via the MX for any VLAN that is not directly connected.
