Network alerts can be configured in Dashboard under Network-wide > Configure > Alerts.
This link should provide enough info to get you started.

Under Network-Wide, then alerts
All the different reasons for sending out alerts are available for configuring who gets what alert
From my dashboard I am seeing alerts for switch ports going down to IP conflicts
You can also add the email address in for what alert gets sent where

hey Meraki guy, can you tell me if traps can be sent to a central device like Solar Winds or other device for alerts? Or is it only email addresses that alerts send to?

Yeah you can pass alerts to SolarWinds using meraki dashboard SNMP: https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/SNMP_Overview_and_...
You can also enable SNMP on individual devices to monitor uptime.

Hello,
Once you get the traps to the other platform you will likely run into the issue we are having - the trap contain No IP or Hostname target information only the MAC address , Network Name / customer/Site / State / issue data.
MAC is not the normal lookup value so were trying to build a workaround.
I understand the devices are DHCP so IP *might* not be a valid target if its constantly changing. - but other customers I have talked to are using DHCP Reservation to have consistent IP Addresses used.
We need something other than MAC in the traps to identify the target !
