Confusion about : DHCP "no_offers_received" Errors in the Event Log

I'm trying to understand this doc but I have a few concerns

When Bridge mode is enabled, wireless and wired clients connected to your Meraki APs will receive an IP address from the DHCP server on the wired LAN. If your DHCP server is unreachable, misconfigured, or has no available IP addresses left in its DHCP address pool, clients will not be able to receive a DHCP lease and the following message will appear in the Meraki Event log: 

1- Wouldn't that be the log : No DHCP lease available ?

If the MX receives 3 DHCP Discovers from the same client in a 5 minute window it will also trigger this event log entry.

1- The document is for MR , not sure that I understand the notice for MX

2- If a MR sees 3 DHCP Discovers from the same client in a 5 minute window , will it also trigger ?

Hi,

1 - I believe the log message is always no_offers_received, it will always be that, even if the root cause is an exhausted DHCP pool.

2- To be honest I think MRs will log the error, but not necessarily with the same threshold logic as MX devices.

I'm not sure about that 

Might only be displayed if the MX is acting as DHCP server, if it relays then maybe no_offers_received is then displayed. Idk

In this case, if I am right, the message depends on the role that the MX is playing (as you noticed).
MX as DHCP server → no DHCP lease available
MX relay → no_offers_received

So I believe the same applies to the MR since it is not acting as a DHCP server.

Is it possible to test?
