anyway to update content filtering via api without overwriting already made exceptions?

I have to update bulk content filtering for 50+ locations and but all of them have 1-2 custom whitlist/blocked url that I need to keep there. Thanks!

The typical way is to read the actual config from the network, adjust the settings and write the new config back.

This is exactly what I have done recently. My code does not overwrite any white lists. Which API call are you using to accomplish this task?
