MV Snapshot 502 Bad Gateway

Hi, I have some cameras deployed on a restricted network with a weird behavior.

Firewall has been configured with the required host/ports as per Meraki official documentation but I cannot play live/recorded video from the camera and every time I ask for a snapshot i have the URL back in the response but if I try to download the S3 hosted image I receive a 502 Bad Gateway. I't doesn't matter how long I wait before trying to download the snapshot, it seems the camera is not able to upload it.

For live video I suppose there is an issue with port 30001 we are investigating but for the snapshot I don't know how to debug it.

Any help?

Besides allowing the proper IPs and ports through the firewall what are the cameras using for DNS? A private server or public (8.8.8.8, etc)?

And, have you opened a Support case?

Hi, cameras are using a private DNS. Support case not opened yet, just waiting more info from network operators to understand if they have some alerts on the firewall or not.

You should review the note on MV Camera DNS here

Hi, I have the cameras deployed on two different networks with the same DNS and one site is working correctly while the other not.
