Getting or setting splash/captive/walled garden on MX

Hi there.

For the life of me I can not find the endpoints that allow me to get/set captive settings on MX.

For MRs (wireless) I can get/set splash-url, walled garden, redirect-url,  etc. via:

/networks/${networkId}/wireless/ssids/${ssidNumber}
/networks/${networkId}/wireless/ssids/${ssidNumber}/splash/settings
For MX I tried every possible endpoint available in. I found a few posts here to use this
/networks/{networkId}/appliance/ssids

I have early access turned on, but I get this Error:
This endpoint only supports MX devices with wireless capabilities

In dashboard I access it via:
n/CBOJRafc/manage/configure/access_control/0#vlan=24
n/CBOJRafc/manage/configure/splash_page/0#vlan=24

Here's a network:

L_637822297226358860

It has VLAN:24 configured with ex-cap, walled garden, etc.

Help please 😉

Kind of a big deal

You can't find them because I do not believe they exist for MXs. I may have missed something but I don't see anything in the API reference that applies to MXs.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the configuration you do via Security & SD-Wan > Configure > Access control

There is no API available, you can only configure it via the dashboard.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.
