unable to recover org admin password

I haven't logged into Meraki dashboard in a few years and now I'm not able to anymore. I can't recover my password because I don't get the password reset email.

I also opened a case with Support, which didn't help much. They basically said that Support cannot reset passwords anymore and I should go through the available password reset.

The case is ongoing but wanted to know if anyone else had this issue.

(yes, I did check my spam folder - it's not there)

Is there another organization admin that can DELETE your admin profile and re-create it?

That would be the route I would take if it's available.

At any point in time was SAML/SSO ever enabled?  If so, password reset emails are not sent (login must go through the IdP).

Do you have any other admins in the organization who can reset the password?

It's advisable to always have at least two administrators in the organization.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Certainly advisable to have two admin accounts for each Organisation. 

 

Before I did this and lost access to (probably around 10 years ago), I had to send a letter to Meraki in London with a copy of driving licence, proof of payment via Ingram and the serial numbers to get access. 

 

Are you able to check if the email is being blocked (i.e. trace in Office 365)?
