Systems manager being discontinued

Logged into my dashboard this morning and saw this banner, to be honest it was very ironic as I had just logged into to start migrating devices to Jamf 😂, the announcement wasn't unexpected to be honest for the last 6 months it felt like SM was going to be filled away like MC

I have never used SM , but I was surprised that no one ( either from Meraki lol ) posted about here except for this post that you commented on earlier.

Like you said Intune and Jamf probably have most of the market share

We tried using Systems Manager at the beginning to manage Windows and Android, but it was just too much hard work.  Debugging things (especially on Android) was really hard work, and the Windows platform seemed to get no love.

We've moved to Intune now.

I completely agree that Windows support was very basic.

I have never had a customer using Systems Manager, and I don't really think it's that relevant for customers in my country. I've only ever touched through the CMNA stack that I got at first, and has since then played around with it a little to get a feeling of how it works and how to use it. I have devices at home that I have enrolled.

Systems Manager in its entirety as an MDM solution, I don't think it relevant however, there are som aspects of Systems Manager that I still think might be useful, and would be interested to see if or how it could be continued or even improved.
