PDL and Subscription Lic in one Org

Hi there,

I currently have PDL licensing in my Org. As I refresh each of my networks (on their own timelines), I would like to set them to be subscription based. Is that possible to have a mix of both PDL and Subscription in one organization?

Also, does the Subscription length follow the same as the others, 1, 3, 5, 10yr?'

Thanks!!

As of September 2023, if you are creating a new Meraki organization, you will automatically default to the co-term licensing model. If you wish to be on Meraki subscription licensing, your organization will be changed automatically once you claim a subscription licensing key in the Meraki dashboard. Per-device licensing is no longer available for new customers. You are not able to mix and match any of the licensing models.

No, you cannot mix licensing models within the same organization. Meraki enforces a single licensing model per organization. If you want to move to Subscription licensing, you’ll need to claim a subscription license key, which will convert the organization to Subscription mode. PDL is no longer available for new customers, but existing PDL orgs can continue using it until they migrate.

Yes, subscription licenses follow similar term options as legacy models.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
