Meraki Dashboard account locked after multiple failed login attempts

Hello,

My Meraki Dashboard account has been locked after too many failed login attempts.
The message says:

"This account has been locked after too many failed login attempts. Contact your network administrator(s)."

I am the administrator for this organization, so I don’t have another admin to unlock my account.
Could you please guide me on how to request an account unlock or reset access to the Dashboard?

I don't know if support will help with this case, I don't think so, but it doesn't hurt to try.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

As a suggested best practice once you get back into your account:

Note: Dashboard organizations should always have at least two organization admins with full permissions. This is best practice in case one account is locked out or if access to that account's email address is lost.

Once you get access back, a good option is to configure the ability to login in using Entra ID accounts.

Then you can log in using either a Meraki account or an Entra ID account.
