Group Policy: Adaptive Policy SGT error

DoNOTAssignSGT.png

I've not seen this error in the past - believe it's a RECENT glitch somewhere in the dashboard or backend as nothing in this particular group policy has changed in many months.

Obviously I am not integrating with Cisco ISE or TrustSec so the right option would be "Do not assign SGT."

Any idea what is triggering this new error...?

I do have a licence for SGT, and SGT is configured.

I just gave it a try.  I get the same error - but it still saved the change.

I also tried making an actual valid SGT change, got the error, but it still saved the change.

If you view the old version of that page, does the error go away?

Hello @PhilipDAth there is only one view for group policies - no indication of old view or new view.

I believe if ANY existing GP is modified that error appears - even when not making adjustments to Adaptive Policy SGT portion or section of the group policy.

If you do make any changes to Adaptive Policy SGT (use default, do not assign or assign SGT) because it's giving an error message - no matter what you change it to - the error still remains.

The only way for it to go away is if you exit out after (say if you were to modify QoS fields) and saving - even with the error present then come back to the same group policy that you made a slight change to the error isn't there.

So I'm not sure what causes the lag (status / error) or if there is a legit mapping bug somewhere, a dashboard sync issue or cache conflict?

I'd like for the dashboard to be reliable vs clunky and have random errors messages.

Indeed it's weird!

And I was hoping someone else could test making a slight change to an existing GP and save the change to see if their network also shows the error - or is it just my shard?
