Early Access - Energy Dashboard

This feature is now in Early Access  :https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Organizations_and_Networks/Energy_Management...

Why is this the only feature of the dashboard that uses the browser language instead of my dashboard settings ? This is a bit annoying

I noticed it as well this morning and immediately enabled it. It hasn't populated any data yet though.

And trying to switch networks yields a 404. 🙂

@rhbirkelund when you change networks are you doing so by selecting other networks at the top of the page?  It works fine for me (switching networks) if using the ALL NETWORKS drop down at the top.

I was tryring to browse away from the page, and did so by selecting the Network dropdown and hit VIew all Networks. That gave the 404.

It wasn't when changing networks to vire Energy Management on.

Same behavior from the Alert Hub. I have a case opened for like 6 months. An intern could solve that issue in 15 minutes.

Getting noticed

I enabled it via Early Access, but I'm not able to fill the energy prices in the Network so I also requested access for the Beta. This is very interesting from a sustainability perspective.

It's good to see this feature in the dashboard. Is the ability to set variables only available through the Beta programme? Should they not at least pull the 'generalised region' values from https://www.electricitymaps.com/? Silly question, but where do you request to be added to the Beta?

I can see that from the start of 2026, values for estimated electiricy costs and GHG are shown. However, the values don't appear to be accurate, at least not if it was using variable based on region. Below is a screen grab for our energy usage in February:Meraki_Energy_Management.jpg

I'd love to only pay the estimated costs for the energy usage, however I'd be mortified if that was the GHG cost. This data looks more like I'm based in USA/China rather than UK.

My network running beta firmware shows this option Network-wide -> General :

I'm not sure if these are related yet

Thanks for this information. I've corrected a couple of values, mainly the local currency, however the per kWh and CO2e values in my networks wouldn't match to the values provided in the energy dashboard. So either the power usage value shown is incorrect, or the formula to calculate the electiricy and Co2e costs has an error...Do your values/charges match to your network cost variables?
