What is the benefit of converting to per-device license for those using One enterprise AP license, one network and there is no need to add additional license soon

@BTee In your current situation, you won't notice much of a difference in terms of managing your license. If you add more devices/licenses down the road, you can take advantage of features such as the 90 day activation period and partial renewals.

Yes, you start seeing the difference when using multiple devices and licenses. They don't necessarily need to be in different networks though.

For example, purely hypothetical, let's say your company wants to renew switches every 10 years and access points every 5 years. With the new licensing you could assign 5 year licenses to the access points and 10 year licenses to the switches. And they don't have to be in different networks.
