Cisco Meraki MX67 – Event Log Storage Compliance in UAE - Dashboard LogsHi All, I'm currently using

Hi All,
I'm currently using a Cisco Meraki MX67 device and seeking a solution to prevent event logs from being pushed to the Meraki cloud dashboard. Due to regulatory compliance requirements in the UAEparticularly within the healthcare sector event logs must not be stored outside the country. However, Cisco Meraki does not currently operate data centers within the UAE region.

I’ve configured an internal syslog server to collect and retain logs locally, but I’m unable to disable the automatic log storage in the Meraki cloud. This presents a challenge in meeting local data residency regulations.

I would appreciate any insights or best practices on how healthcare organizations in the UAE are addressing this issue while remaining compliant.

Thank you.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the UAE region is not listed as an available data center location. The closest data center shown for my tenant is in the Asia Pacific region.

I would recommend to open a support case. You won´t be the only customer facing this requirement.

Maybe they have got the ability to change the region on backend side.
