Well, what exactly do you want to monitor? Reachability „only“? Interface utilization? CPU?

Please take a look at https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Meraki_Device_Repo...

Thanks for your reply, i just want to know if meraki deivces can be monitor by other platform, and the main points is whether devices go down or link down .

Devices going up or down could be handled via standard alerting. The monitoring system would either be able to receive email alerts or Webhooks.

On the other hand, internals systems would be able to ping your Meraki devices and provide you with reachability information. That would of course be the most simple use case though.

As your meaning,we can only monitor by Meraki cloud, we don't need other monitor platform ?

Hi, you can use SNMP or API to monitor the status of the port and a lot of checks more. Actually we use nagios to monitor the devices, but you can use a lot of monitoring tools by snmp or api.

SNMP monitoring is a lot faster than cloud alerts. Plus, if you monitor from the inside (thinking DC hub) you can get status info of the interfaces with the external connectivity down.

With that query to the api you receive the status of all of your devices, is a good way to do not pull each device... with hundred of devices is a good option because with one query of milliseconds you have all status of the devices. With some scripting is easy to parse the individual information.
