My name is Pero Vrucinic and i am in-house IT support for Precision Business Solutions, based in Dallas TX.

We are in quantitative market research business.

I have been working with MX 80 switch and MS320-48LP ones, for several years. I like the products a lot.

I am an avid motorcycle rider and a speargun fisher.

Issue:

Recently i have noticed a dashboard message:

POLICY-OTHER cryptomining javascript client detected 

Can anyone tell me what this could be and should i be concerned?

Basically your MX has detected someone accessing a website that had some mining javascript code embedded. It likely purged the request from it. If it happens often, go talk to the person causing it.
