Port Forwarding on vMX 100 in Azure

Hi,

I need a get HTTPS port forwarding to a VM in Azure via our Meraki vMX 100.

I can't seem to find any port forwarding options for the vMX despite the manual mentioning them, the firewall rules don't seem to do anything, and changing the NSG access settings in Azure doesn't seem to make any difference either.

Anyone else come across this?

A vMX is strictly a VPN concentrator.  It does not do NAT.

You should be used Azure itself to do NATing to any host you have in Azure.

I believe the below applies to the vMX also.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/NAT_and_Port_Forwarding/Port_Forwarding_and_NAT_Rules_on_the_MX

I am assuming the VM is on the LAN behind the vMX? Are you able to ping from the vMX to the VM you are trying to port forward to? If not you probably need to look at the NSG rules on the VM.
