Meraki VPN host name not resolving

Hi All, It's been a month since Meraki hasn't returned the hostname on VPN NOMEXXXXX.dynamic-m.com I've already redid all the DNS settings on our server, but it still doesn't return, but if you enter the WAN IP, the VPN closes...Anyone else having this issue?

Does it work if you query against a public DNS server? If so you have an issue with your internal DNS servers which is going to be hard for us to help with. If it doesn't return against a public server you can try turning it on and off in the dashboard or calling support. There is very little configurable on the customer side except on or off and the hostname.

Good afternoon,

thank you for your support,

I had already called, we arrived to do some tests but it didn't work, regarding the DNS, I had already changed it to Google's 8.8.8.8 and it didn't work...

Hey there,

Does a nslookup return anything?

You can try toggling the hostname (just add a character and revert it back after about 15 minutes) to see if this helps.

Other wise I'd suggest raising a ticket with support to see why the MX isn't reporting its hostname.
