Doubts about replacing devices in spare mode MX84 to MX95

Hi Team!

I soon need to replace two MX84 devices in spare mode with another two MX95 devices because an upgrade is required.

Is it possible to clone the configuration from one model to another? I can't find anything related to this topic on the web.

If it is possible, what is the procedure?

Regards!

Take a look ate the documentation.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

I have this documentation, and I thank you anyway friend!

My question is if it's okay to obtain the configuration from an MX84 to an MX95.

Yes, the document specifically mentions right at the top: "if the network is being upgraded to a different model of MX, the network admin must perform a 'cold swap" and  includes the port mapping chart as well.

"spare" caught my attention.  To build on the other great answers, not that if you have a warm spare pair, you can not upgrade just the spare.  You must upgrade both the primary and the warm spare simultaneously.

Thanks for the information.
I've been configuring these devices for a while.
