Unboxing a Meraki MG52E

Here is a small photo gallery and unboxing a MG52E.

It comes alive just by plugging it in, in my case I was using an MX85 and POE from one of the Internet ports.

The MG52E ships in an all paper/cardboard box - there is NO plastic on/in anything.

Antennas are color coded for specific ports - red to red and blue to blue - you can see them clearly marked in the photos.

The MG52E has dual SIM trays as well as an eSIM that is on ATT network which is how it was able to come online initially - this means you could drop ship them and get them going just by powering them up.

The captive thumb screws for the access door are a welcome touch you don't even need a screw driver to open or secure the lid.

My plan is to use this as a backup link in case of an internet outage.
