I agree with you and the plan is to migrate to Intune fully. I have a pilot of one hundred iOS devices in it now, and the admin UX just left more to be desired. Ultimately, I was curious if anyone had heard of some future functionality that was on the horizon that would allow for CA rules to work with our Meraki managed devices until they aged out. Certain job roles have Duo in place, I just don't want to spend that much at the moment for the entire user base. But I do enjoy Duo and it's WebAuthn/FIDO2 support as well.

Are there any plans to have Meraki as a supported compliance partner with Microsoft''s Intune? We are wanting to use conditional access rules and only allow Compliant devices to access company resources. With phishing at an all time high during this pandemic, we have started to flag emails failing DMARC... and it just so happens that some notifications from the Meraki Community system are failing the DMARC policy. The reason for the failure is that the From and Return-Path headers are not aligned from the same domain.

It is my understanding that 802.11k is just always enabled.

The new phone-to-phone restore method did not work but restoring from iCloud does still work. At least from our initial findings.

+1 on avoiding Surface products. We have hundreds of Lenovo T series that work perfectly. Two Surface Books that always had Wi-Fi issues. Until I replaced them, I had to disable 802.11r and 802.11w to get them to play nice.
