Hi GreenMan, Thanks for the reply. We specifically use the MR76/MR86 in greenhouses because of the heat and damp/water. The MR48E we use mainly for warehouses. We did ask a Cisco partner and many other people, but there is hardly any knowledge on wireless in greenhouses (our greenhouses are like 600x250 meters in size with many cells). The glass is not the issue. Its the leafs that is causing the issues. We did a proper measurement with Ekahu for one cell (80x40 meters and we needed 32 AP's for just one cell. Standing in a row with an AP two rows away the signal drops to -85 already.

We're busy with multiple Meraki AP roll outs as a replacement of our office locations, but we are also looking at new options to enable wireless. One of the new wireless options we like to look into are greenhouses. We have a large number of greenhouses and have decided to deliver wireless in corridors as supporting wireless throughout the greenhouses is no option (sizing and high plants and leaves). We have standardized on MR46E (mainly for warehouses) and the MR76 (preferred model) and the high end MR86. But here is the question. When to choose what model? If I do a site survey measurement with Yagna there is not much difference. Is there a document where is listed where to use what model of AP? I read the model comparison and RF specs but like to know when to use what model.
