Hi, We are having issues this morning accessing the meraki dashboard, is anybody else having issues, or just us? just either a white page, or never seems to finish loading. We are not aware of any other issues been seen on site, but because we can't get on the dashboard its a bit difficult to see if its a connection issue or what.

We have downgraded all our mx's back to the older firmware, and the function returns to working. They have updated the firmware notes to say there is an issue with none meraki VPN over a ppoe connection, so seems to be known by them. You shouldn't necessarily need to contact support to downgrade, if you go to the firmware page it lets you "upgrade" to the latest stable version, once selected it tells you are downgrading.

we have 18.207 running on most of our mx67c's, and other then the vpn thing mentioned just above, we haven't had issues with the cellular, and 208 is meant to have further improvements on that side. We aren't going to be rolling to 208 due to the issues with the VPN, and are slowing moving back to the 18.107 versions, however that then breaks the cellular part.

Hi holli69, just out of interest was you seeing this VPN issue on both the primary and secondary wan? We upgraded a few weeks ago to the 18.207 and had no issues with the VPN untill a lorry broke the main fibre to the building, and the VPN was showing up on the secondary connection, but couldn't get it to send any data, downgraded.the firmware, and then it was back working.

Another option, if your home routers have dyndns capabilities, you could right a script to run frequently making use of the API to get the ip's of the home technicians connections and update the dashboard restrictions to include there ip's. A solution we implemented a while ago, and works well, and cheaper then running a vm in azure or vmx.

If I'm honest I hadn't had chance to try what was suggested in the link I put up, had planned to try it in the next few days. I assume after uninstalling the update you had rebooted the device. And it was showing as not installed after the reboot?

There's a PowerShell script on here that uninstalls the update then sets the update as hidden, there's also an interesting work around of keeping the update installed but installing Wireshark and that stops the issue occuring https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/13czkrv/comment/jjpvdxu/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

the answer was through self testing, you can just upload the one bit of information, and leave the rest untouched.

Hi All, Hopefully a simple question, i've only used the api to get data previously but have come up with a use case where we would like to update the loginIpRanges within the updateOrganizationLoginSecurity. What i'm not sure about, and have failed to find out via searching the net. With the " /organizations/{organizationId}/loginSecurity" end point do we need to include all the object values or can we just pass the loginIpRanges so can we just do (data is from { "loginIpRanges": [ "192.195.83.1", "192.195.83.255" ] } or do we need to include all of it... { "enforcePasswordExpiration": true, "passwordExpirationDays": 90, "enforceDifferentPasswords": true, "numDifferentPasswords": 3, "enforceStrongPasswords": true, "enforceAccountLockout": true, "accountLockoutAttempts": 3, "enforceIdleTimeout": true, "idleTimeoutMinutes": 30, "enforceTwoFactorAuth": true, "enforceLoginIpRanges": true, "loginIpRanges": [ "192.195.83.1", "192.195.83.255" ], "apiAuthentication": { "ipRestrictionsForKeys": { "enabled": true, "ranges": [ "192.195.83.1", "192.168.33.33" ] } } }

"Minor improvements to the reporting of flow data via syslog", a couple of our MX's upgraded 10 106 last night, and since then there has been no patterns "deny all" come through, don't suppose anybody knows what the minor improvement was?

just out of interest, did you set up any VLAN based network object rules in the firewall on the Z3? we recently deployed a Z3, that devices connected to it couldn't communicate to the internet, and that was due to what is believed to be a bug(unconfirmed), that when you have a VLAN sourced base rule, it stops the firewall functioning correctly, and blocks most traffic. Replacing the VLAN rule, with the ip range for that VLAN then allowed everything to function. Might not be the same problem, but worth checking...
