Hi all,  I'm building a script to merge a customer's networks and I need to rebind the old networks to the new template before they will merge. In the dashboard there is a rebind option, but I can't find one in the API. Can I just bind the new template if the network has an existing one, or do I need to unbind and then bind to the new template? Or is there a hidden call that I can't see? Thanks ... View more

Hi all, I've been running my CMNA lab since Oct 2014 and it's been running smoothly, allowing me to learn new features and demonstrate them to customers. I've noted that the new MX15 code will not run on my original MX60 and this will be a major limitation to my lab. Is there a way to get a hardware refresh? Can I just re-sit CMNA and get all new hardware, or is there a different process? I'd just get NFR, but this is my personal lab and that makes things complicated. Thanks ... View more

I've written a Python script to add static routes but I'm running into a JSON error. My original code was messy but worked, appending text to a string until the HTML body was complete string="{" string=string + '"name": "' + network["Name"] + '",' string=string + '"subnet": "' + network["Network"] + '",' string=string + '"gatewayIp":"' + gateway["GW"] + '",' string=string + '"enabled":"true"}' I then tried to use   payload = { "name" : network["Name"], "subnet": network["Network"], "gatewayIp": gateway["GW"], "enabled":"true" } which doesn't work The output is as follows, the first line is rejected, the second works fine. {'name': '10.2.1.0-24', 'subnet': '10.2.1.0/24', 'gatewayIp': '192.168.129.5', 'enabled': 'true'} {"name": "10.2.1.0-24","subnet": "10.2.1.0/24","gatewayIp":"192.168.129.5","enabled":"true"} The only difference appears to be the quote type. Is the API this picky? and is there a way to use the second code stanza to produce valid code? It works for the requests.request header, but not the body.   Thanks, Joe ... View more
