I have a rather large system....had 15 go offline this AM across 13 different networks.   Toggled PoE on their switch port on all of them to regain connectivity to the cloud.  No sooner was I done, 12 more dropped off.   This is nuts. ... View more

I got the problem too.  Once I went to 28.6 code it all went downhill, tried 28.6.1 as well with no help.  My case number:  07967754.   It's only my MR56 units.  My MR42 and MR34 units are fine. ... View more

MR34 - port bouncing after some time?

I haven't opened a support case on this...yet....as these older MR34 models are going to be replaced in the coming weeks with MR56 models via eRate.  However, I was curious....has anyone seen an issue where the MR34 will randomly lose connection to the Meraki Cloud Dashboard.   When this happens...on the switch it's connected to (HP Procurve), the port goes into basically a port flap up/down state.   I 02/08/22 14:59:45 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:59:34 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:59:31 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:59:22 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:59:19 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:59:06 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:59:03 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:58:54 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:58:51 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:58:39 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:58:36 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:58:27 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:58:24 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:58:11 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:58:08 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:57:59 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:57:56 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:57:43 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:57:40 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:57:31 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:57:28 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:57:00 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:56:57 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:56:48 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:56:45 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:56:31 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:56:28 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:56:19 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line I 02/08/22 14:56:16 00077 ports: port J6 is now off-line I 02/08/22 14:56:03 00076 ports: port J6 is now on-line   The fix is easy.  We power off the ports PoE...wait about a minute....then power it back on.  Good to go again.  Yet, we've seen this happen with random MR34 units, in different networks, with no real reason for this to be happening.  No traffic increases or major client changes.  I also have yet to see this happen more than once to a single unit.  It's happened to about 25-30 different MR34 units so far.   We have over 2000 APs in our environment.   The MR34 APs are running 26.8.2  (our newer MR42/MR56 models 27.7.1).   I plan to upgrade these during an upcoming school shutdown week or at worst this summer.   Just curious.     ...
