Hi All, Would like to get an idea on how I can edit or add what the monitor-only privilege can see once the admin account is logged-in. As far as my testing, all the monitor-only privilege has are the monitor clients which is far from what I want our client to be able to see. I want them to see the status of access points as well but it is under read-only where the configure tab can be accessed and I don't want that. Your help is highly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi All, I just wanted to verify if I did not connect the MR series to the Internet and just turned the power on, I can test it locally or offline as I want to test the range the AP can reach within the vicinity. I saw that it will broadcast a default SSID of meraki-scanning where I can test my requirements but when I boot it sometimes, the AP doesn't broadcast the said SSID and the light indicator is just blinking amber. Particular model that we're using is MR33. Please advise if there are other ways to test the AP like range without connecting it to the Internet. Thank you.

Hello, Like for example do I need to configure some scripts on the external captive portal server where once we have authenticated the facebook credentials, we have to communicate with the AP for us to grant Internet connection.

Hi Philip, Yes when having the splash page as none, we are able to have Internet connection as we would expect. It is just when we have the splash page that redirects to our external captive portal server which also houses the authentication that we are not able to have internet connection.

Hello Everyone, I'd just like to get some help on why we are unable to have Internet connectivity upon successful login on the captive portal. Our setup is we configured the Meraki AP as a bridge with a click-through splash page where the splash page has a custom URL to be connected to which is an external captive portal server and RADIUS server as well. We are using facebook login as a means to authenticate to the SSID then get an internet connection but upon testing when we have successfully logged in, we are unable to have Internet connection. Do we still need to configure any additional things on our AP for us to successfully connect to the Internet? Please advise. Thank you!
