I remember when we were reverting it was strict. Maybe they changed that policy. Also RVilhelmsen reports it is still a problem for him. I think we are going to wait few more weeks to see how it works for others. ... View more

Keep in mind you can only revert firmware for 1 week, if I remember correctly.    This is becoming ridiculous by now. half of the year yet they could not address it?      ... View more

We have mostly Dell E7470 with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC8260 Driver version: 19.10.10.2 - you cannot upgrade this higher on Windows 7 for some reason.  Just FYI - similar thing occurred for Surface Books.    Regards, Filip ... View more

This is becoming ridiculous. We also did not have problem with Mac devices (which is Linux based).  What is there is security vulnerability and we are forced to update ?    Just to ask you one more thing - do you use SonicWall for the firewall? Most of the people have problem when using SW.      ... View more

Hi all. Unfortunately, we experienced the same problem on our end. Just to give you an idea from the different topic - you can track on your firewall enormous amount of the connections for the devices which eventually cause drops (firewalls have the upper limit of simultaneous connections). In our case, it is SonicWall.   Also in addition - yes, it was affecting only Windows devices, especially where we have a higher density of the APs(all our devices are MR42). We are Win7 shop so cannot say anything about Windows 10. I can also confirm this could be Intel related. We are using Latitude E7470 with Intel Dualband 8260 card. Different driver / bios versions did not make any difference. Seems like some of the phones were affected too. No problems with Mac devices.  In our case, we decided to back to previous firmware. 3 days up as of now without any big problems.    Looking forward to seeing Meraki applying fix. We might be in trouble in case there is a major security update.      ... View more

Bingo - yes we are behind the SonicWall. That sounds super weird tho because weird part of the Network is totally fine.  How about the other experiencing the problem?    I would test it further but I do not think we will do the test lab on 150 people office ;(     ... View more

We decided to downgrade firmware to version >25. All the problems are gone. @meraki_ please let us know how we can figure where is the heart of the issue. The worst that might happen is "surprising" security update which is going to force us where we do not want to be. ... View more

After our upgrade to new firmware, we have noticed plenty of problems with connection stability.  Load balancing does not work (clients are disassociated from holding AP but all other units are rejecting the client) which cause laptops adapters to freq-out and disconnect until they are manually turn off/on (wifi adapters).  Also, clients have plenty of problem holding to SSID for a long time: random drops, without option to connect with SSID, client holds the IP even tho it is already disconnected, only previously connected SSID is visible).   So far turning off load balancing improved the situation but this is no fix, although it might be a case where there is fewer people in the office so I don't get that many tickets compare to recent days.  In the meantime wired network works perfectly (wire & wifi are on the same subnet). Anyone experiencing similar issues? Support is helpless right now...  ... View more

OID for MS switches for V3

Hi,   I am trying to setup decent monitoring on our MS devices with use of PRTG. As some of you might now, Meraki got tricky support for the SNMP, not even talking about the flows. It will be set up within SNMP V3 version (unless there is no big security discrepancy between V2 & V3 in Meraki case). For me, there is no difference if the information is being pulled from the dashboard or locally. Most of the PRTG sensors do not support V3 with Meraki - authentication issues, even though PRTG SNMP tester got successful queries, except there is no "such object" for the particular requests (V2 seems to be working).  In this case, I need to create custom sensors based on the OID's.   In the Meraki Article  https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/SNMP_Overview_and_Configuration#Overview  it is sad that "Meraki devices support the majority of OIDs located within the subset of the following MIBs: SNMPv2-MIB .1.3.6.1.2.1.1" Unfortunately, this is V2 technology. Does someone know the official list of the V3 supported OIDs? That would be a great help! Also maybe there are other things I should approach differently? Let me know!  ... View more
