Hi, I just wanted to confirm whether it's possible to delay the JSON POST request to our custom server in Scanning API. As per as my understanding the default time that meraki cloud call JSON POST request to our server in scanning api is 1 minute. Is it possible to make it 5/10 minute.? Any information or help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your response. Tried it with PHP, but trying to Validate the URL from the dashboard its giving the below error: Did not match validator: http://subdomain.mydomain.com/scanner.php Am i doing something wrong.? Below is the PHP code i am using to validate it through GET request. if(strcasecmp($_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'], 'GET') == 0) { $q = new Queries(); $data_array = array('status_text' => "Data returned with validator key: $validator", 'rtype' => $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD']); $q->save_scan_data($data_array); return $validator; } When clicking to validate from dashboard, get request coming to my server as scan log is saving at back-end. You mean to say for MERAKI, we are just an API which will consume, right.? In 1st Step: It sends the GET request to to validate the validator key using the url say: http://mydomain.com/scanner.php (GET) In 2nd Step: It sends the POST request to the same url http://mydomain.com/scanner.php (POST) in specific time of interval with the real-time data of the connected user. Am i correct in the above interpretation.? Please confirm.! Thanks

Thanks for your valuable response but i already tried this. This was working on the 1st phase, i.e.; being redirected to my click-through splash page & user won't able to access the internet from browser directly. But once users redirected to my custom click-through page & clicked to the button it won't allow to access the internet after being authorized to it. Don't know what i am missing in the configuration.

Hello, I have configured the AP (MR20) & integrating the click-through splash page. So, i want that user should not be able to access the internet until he passed through the click-through splash page. Currently user can able to access the internet without passing & sharing his/her custom details via click-through splash page. Users redirecting to my splash page but also able to access the internet from browser in the same time without passing the click-through splash page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You mean to say by selecting Sign-on Meraki Authentication, i can't maintain the user's data to our custom database. All users data will be on the Meraki cloud, right.? I want to add the users data & control the theme design on our custom server, that's the priority. That's what i asked, does the meraki configuration level support's to create custom login & registration maintained on our server & sync all the users information to our MySQL database.? Please confirm.! You haven't answered the last question, is there any way to integrate Custom hosted splash page without using the Physical device Or it's mandatory to purchase the device for integration.? Hi, Is there a way where i can be able to create customized login & registration page before giving access to Internet. Under the Wireless > Access Control > Scroll to Splash Page Selecting option Sign-on with Meraki Authentication works for this or not, please confirm. Is there any way to do that and saves the information on my own server database(MySQL). Is there any way to test the Custom Splash page integration without using the Physical device, as client asking for that. Please confirm. Thanks

When i am using custom splash page (EXCAP), then i need only mobile number of the end user before granting the wifi internet. But for that i also need users MAC address to save at my back-end along with mobile number. So, that next time when users comes under the same network it map's the MAC with our database then after he will be allow to access the internet. I already check the tutorials link you shared, but haven't find my answer. 1) Can i get users MAC address before granting him the wifi internet access, as our product requirement is to save his contact number for sending the Notification when roaming under the same network. 2) While using the custom script's (say PHP) under EXCAP, can we use the MySQL database for saving the users MAC & Mobile number.? 3) Is there any way where we can test the AP's via virtual client (Mobile), before buying the physical equipment. I am using the meraki online tool to test the features before purchasing the physical CISCO device. I am integrating WiFi network for the visitors where i stucked at a place. I wanted to create the custom splash (EXCAP) page so that i can capture and keep the users information at our end too. I am mentioning my concerns below. So, below are my concerns: 1) Is there any way, where i could get the mac address of the devices along with mobile number before grant them to access the internet, as i wanted to save at our back-end too. 2) Can we use our custom scripts (PHP / JavaScript) under custom hosted splash pages, before granting the internet access. Like saving the Mobile & MAC address of the users device. 3) While using the Meraki Dashboard (Trial version), i am not able to create the client's (Mobile devices) for which i could test the AP (Access Points) i created under a Network. (How can i test the Access Points i created under the Network.?) It would be really appreciated is any one share the relevant information / tutorials on the same which solve my concerns.
