Right, definitely a few variables in the mix, and it sounds like you have already tried all the obvious things like reinstall, clear cache, etc. I have a Samsung myself, Galaxy S7 (SM-G930V) phone running 8.0.0 and I'm able to use the mobile app to view live video on multiple models of MV cameras. Go ahead and open a support case, might turn out you're not the only one and they might have a good suggestion to try. In the meantime, do you have any other mobile devices (or even temporarily try one from a friend or family member) just to confirm you can see it from other devices using the mobile app?
