hi Jackson! I know this is old but sounds similar.. currently we have an open NAT for RDS gateway, which I really want to close (it gets hammered). I installed the cisco secure client on a users machine and had them testing it out. When connected to the VPN, he experienced similar issues that you describe.. the RDS session freezes and you cant see your mouse, etc. Did you ever determine what the issue was? I don't, but all i've gotten from them is: "Yes, we've tried 2 EC2 instances, both of which have connected without issues in the past. My laptop works if I connect directly to the vpn from there. " ... View more

This was the reason we had to come off the MX platform and move to the FTD platform for our firewalls. The processing if I recall correctly was L7 then L3 unless there is a 1:1 NAT then it's just the NAT rules for inbound traffic. ... View more
