So I had a few spare MV cams hanging around the house I wasn't using. Decided to sell one on eBay that I wasn't using it and I had failed to obfuscate the serial. Naturally someone on eBay took advantage and claimed it. I only became aware after a seller was asking why I was selling claimed devices and would be happy to buy it for "parts". I reached out to Meraki and naturally they refuse to help, despite the fact that they would see (through my inventory history) that I am the original owner and licensee of this camera. Now I have a worthless camera that the fraudulent eBay business wants to "buy from me for parts or scrap". Man talk about beyond aggravating. At the very least Id love to see Meraki take action against those orgs that have suspected stolen serials and ban their Dashboards. Man oh man. Meraki, you need to implement a better safeguard some way shape or form.
