Hi there. I have webhooks connected to power automate, and it's collecting all of the alerts in a list, and sending alerts to Teams. I'm wondering if there are more detailed responses that I can collect. IE, lost connectivity to internet, lost power, etc. Looking to gather data on events and make it look pretty. Thanks!

Ok, so Layer2 is out of the question. That's fine. These devices will connect to the server as long as there are routes setup. So I can have the server on a different subnet, as long as it's in the same network. Like, I think I should be able to do this through the site-to-site VPN.

I'm trying to reduce boxes running server software. The model is: device collects data -> connects to server on LAN -> then server sends data to cloud. I don't want 12 boxes running this software, I just want one box. So i'd like all devices to send data to one box over VPN.

I used to work for an ISP, so I've seen this done before. I have a box in location A, and a bunch of remote devices in 12 other locations that need to connect to the box in location A. The remote devices need to be on the same subnet as location A. I've seen this: Using Site-to-site VPN Translation - Cisco Meraki Documentation Ideally, I'd just like the subnet in location A to push DHCP through the VPN. But I guess that isn't a thing? I'm tasked with developing an after hours network for our company. It is for personal devices, and is to be segmented from our CorpLan. That part is fine. However I am re-evaluating the wireless authentication aspect of it. Ideally I think we'd like to limit it to devices owned by employees. As it sits, it's just a PSK, so anyone could jump on the after hours network if they have the PSK. I was looking at Meraki authentication. Is it a 1 device per login? I do like the idea of having some visibility of who is doing what with their devices on the personal network. Any other ideas?

Well that is disappointing to hear. I thought since it was referencing the orgid, that it would just go and find the serial number wherever it happened to be within the org. I'll take a peak at the switch template. Thanks!

Just trying to see if I have the right idea here. I have about 12 networks I need to deploy in the next couple of months. Cloning networks doesn't help me with the switch configs though. So I have 2 Switches with 1 being a demarcation switch/distribution switch, and the other one just acting as an access switch. All ports are configured using port profiles. No Layer 3 config either. I see this: /organizations/{organizationId}/switch/devices/clone and am thinking it will be the way forward. Will this work even though I configured the ports using the port profile? Ideally I would have liked to just clone port profiles, but that doesn't seem like an option at this point. I'm a little scared to try it out in my org, cause I'm new, and POST scares me. The most important thing is that VLANS, Tags, and trunk/access ports get copied. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, the unmanaged switch doesn't work for us. This will be deployed to an area where there is no IT presence, and physical access to the network environment is wide open. Unfortunately, it's Starlink I'm using this for, and Bridge Mode isn't something we want to do. I do have the breakout configured as a separate VLAN, and all these ARPs are being generated for that separate VLAN. Am I missing something?

I found a link to a way to use the MS as a breakout so that I could configure hot spare MXs. That works great. However, the issue I am having is that I am getting an ARP entry from my DMZ'd router for every IP address that my one client connects to. So, it appears as though I have 1700 physical clients on my LAN, when I have one. Deploying this to a userbase of 50 people will create issues I think. This is what I am using for the physical setup, along with the VLANS as access ports. I've tried numerous tweaks to the switchports, and I still get all of these external ARP entries. Title pretty much describes what I'm trying to do. Basically we have Starlink, and our reseller wants to plug a management device directly into the Starlink Box. They want us to use Starlink -> dumbswitch -> their management device, and our Meraki gear into that dumbswitch. I prefer not to do that because: a: point of failure b: what's stopping random user from plugging in a dlink in our dumbswitch and bypassing our meraki gear. c: I'm also being told that we don't want any third party gear plugged in behind our appliance. I know.... I'm just doing proof of concept at home. so basically I have this "working" on a MX68CW. I have a vlan setup that doesn't broadcast DHCP, and it's active on 3 ports. The modem plugs into port 3 on the LAN. Port 4 goes back into the internet port 1 on the meraki, and port 5 is just active. (I don't have the management box ATM). I have packet loss over my DMZ, but I think my DMZ just sucks. However, if you can let me know why I might have packet loss with this setup please tell me. Am I going to get a better result if I attempt to do this on a MS250?
