getting this message when trying to add AP's to a network "A bound combined network may only contai

I have a network that is bound to a temple that has MX, ms-130s, Wireless.    When I try to add newly claimed AP's I am getting the following message.  "A bound combined network may only contain bound networks"

what am I doing wrong?

This is expected behavior, as far as I remember, so in this case, what you can do is go to Organization > Configuration Templates.
Find the template your combined network is using.
Create a new network (e.g., a wireless-only network) and link it to the same template.
Add the new APs to this linked network.
If necessary, combine this new network with the existing combined network.

Only networks that are also bound to the same template can be added to a bound combined network.
The newly claimed APs are not yet part of a bound network, so Meraki blocks the addition.

Can you show exactly what you are trying to do?

I unbound the template from the network and was able to bind the AP's.

What I don't understand is we built the template with an AP in it. So, I would think I should have been able to add the new ones in.
