force client to connect to a specific AP

how can I force a client to only connect to a specific AP?

I have a location with 12 AP's and would like a smart TV to only use a specific AP

Create an SSID for the TV and then only broadcast it on one AP.

The only way to do this within 802.11 would be to lock the TV to a specific BSSID... But I doubt very much the TV has an interface where you can set that.
