Wireless Device Firmware: Auto-Scheduling Won't Stop After Disabling

Firmware updates for wireless devices are automatically scheduled.

Even when I disable automatic firmware updates, they are still scheduled.

Is there a way to prevent them from being scheduled automatically?

No, the Meraki dashboard will occasionally automatically schedule upgrades.

This more commonly occurs if device firmware hasn't been manually kept up-to-date.

Network/Org Administrators will receive an email advising of the scheduled upgrade, and you can always reschedule or cancel it from the dashboard before it goes through.

There is a script published by Meraki that you can use that will basically keep pushing the scheduled upgrade forward a week with the net effect of it never happening.

https://github.com/meraki/automation-scripts  the folder/script is firmware_lock
