Just in case someone missed it. I think that this guide and the referenced document in the second paragraph are some really good introductions to some concepts of Wireless LANs:

Am i right in reading MR56's are not Wifi6 Certified only compatible ?

All actual MRx6 are labelled as "Certified".

802.11ax is the standard (well, technically the amendment, but that is not important here). The WiFi-Alliance runs the certification program for the devices:
