SSID planning
Some Meraki APs support up to 15 SSIDs per AP.
Best practice suggests max of 3 SSID be enabled per AP for optimum performance.
Why is 15 SSID/AP supported in the first place then?

Probably because the silicon can support it, and every other vendor advertises the same limit, and to not advertise the same limit would make the product seem less capable to some people.

I just remembered a real-life example.
I have a customer with many SSIDs configured - on a schedule. So the config was quite a few, but only a small number are active at the same time.

We have different SSIDs in different parts of the building, for example by a conference room the SSID for screen sharing and room controller would be advertised on one AP, by an entrance an SSID for door security would be advertised etc.
As you can have many APs in a network and the 15 SSIDs are per network, not per AP, this is a very good reason to have them.
