SSID Configuration Issue

Requirement:

When the student connecting from the Staff SSID, the user cant connected that SSID.

When the Staff connecting from the Student SSID, the user cant connected that SSID.

 

 

Issue:

When the Student connecting from the staff SSID, the user will receive the IP from Management VLAN of the AP

When the Staff connecting from the Student SSID, the user will receive the IP from Management VLAN of the AP

Ok, the problem is not related to Meraki. It's all on the RADIUS server.

When the request comes in you need to compare the SSID to the user account. If it's a student and the SSID is "Staff", send an access reject. Same if it is Staff-member connecting to the "Student" SSID.

It's normal, nowadays people don't like to think much. It's more easier let the others do their work.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

The question also seems to be hinting at IP address allocation.  You would use separate VLANs for the staff and students.
