Here to help

Radio transmit power were not increased as setting.

We are installing MR. 56 APs for a high ceiling room (11 meters H), that required maximizing transmit power as much as possible. However, the actual power (~13 dBm) were not reflected as setting (target power: 27 - 29 dBm) as picture below.

Does any one experienced the same issue and can resolved?

Thanks

Andrew.

Take a look at the max power limitations and see if any of these apply to your setup

Thanks for your ref.

After searching, it is clearer that each AP model has specific power limitation (only show when manual setting), as below:

On a different issue - I would reduce your maximum channel width to 20Mhz.  Otherwise, you are likely to get a lot of co-channel interference with the APs so high.

Thanks for expanding with related informatio.
