RMA Return Procedure for Meraki Access Point

Hi,
I’ve initiated an RMA for a Meraki access point, and the replacement unit should arrive in the next few days.

Could you please clarify how the return process for the faulty unit works?
- Will I receive a return label with the replacement unit?
- Do I need to arrange the return shipment myself, or is a courier pickup included?

- should i use the new box to send back the damage part?

Thanks in advance for your support.
Best regards,

DW

You can check the link that @RWelch  sent you, but Cisco usually sends an email with the next steps.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Hi @MauroF,

You will use the POWR tool (create an account if needed) to generate the return label and arrange pickup of the faulty device. You're encouraged to use the same box that the new device came in.

Feel free to send any questions about the RMA in the Support case, we'll be happy to clarify.

Cheers,
