Put rebooting AP into maintenance mode without creating new alarms, emails for each reboot

Hi,

There is one AP that is loosing its connection from time to time.

Cabling needs to be replaced, but cannot be done timely.

For each reboot everybody on the alert list gets an email, though we know how to fix it and want no new alarms for this AP.

We could remove monitoring for the whole network, but that is no option.

At other vendors, there is the option to put that device into a maintenance mode to ignore all alarming for some week, months, etc.

Is there any way to let Meraki ignore alarms for a specific device, e.g. an individual AP? Maybe something like ignore alarms for AP with Tag "broken"?

Thank you in advance

Peter

Unfortunately not. 😕

Disable PoE from the switch port and the AP will go down and stay down.  No more alarms.
