Procedure authentication WIFI with native Entra ID option

Hi,

I’m trying to configure an SSID to authenticate with Microsoft Entra ID.

I followed this procedure:
https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Encryption_and_Authentication/Microsoft_Entra_ID_Integration_wit...

But I’m a bit confused about the Entra ID part in Azure.
Do I need to create a new app, or select something from Enterprise Applications or App Registrations?

In the guide above it says:

  • Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID > Enterprise applications.

  • Search for the application Cisco Meraki Network Access.

However, I don’t see that app in my Azure portal.

Can you please explain what I should do?
Thanks in advance.

M.

When I mentioned "granting consent", I was referring to the OAuth-based consent flow that happens when an admin allows a third-party app (in this case, Cisco Meraki) to access Microsoft Entra ID resources on behalf of users.
This consent process is what triggers the creation of the "Cisco Meraki Network Access" app in your tenant’s Enterprise Applications list.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

The Meraki documentation describes this in their “Granting Microsoft Admin Consent to Cisco application” section.

If you don’t see the app in Enterprise Applications (or in App registrations), it typically means you have not yet granted consent, so from Azure’s perspective, this app hasn’t been “installed” or allowed into your tenant.

Not sure i follow. When you say "it typically means you have not yet granted consent "..what do you mean?

i have a tenant with proper subscription and when the procedure says i should find an APP i there and there is not...i believe it is irrelevant if i grant consent or not cause the app should be there since the beginning. Does it make sense?
