Meraki CW9162 CW9163 unexpected reboot

In the past days ,our APs unexpected reboot (except the AP14 in red frame) , the reason is as below .   I checked the log in switches ,only found port donw up event . These 4 APs are connected to 4 different Cisco 2960X switches.

AP01 is CW9162 and others are CW9163

I suggest you open a support case.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

It sounds like the firmware crashed.  I would update them to the current stable release.

As said above:

  • Ensure the AP's are on the latest stable firmware release
  • Ensure that you haven't blown the PoE power budget for the switches (unlikely but worth checking)
  • If all AP's encountered the reboot, check to see if a firmware upgrade was automatically scheduled and applied to the network
  • Open a support case

I am sad for the ability for the meraki team.
